Christmas 2009

We had a great Christmas. Maddy declared it her #1 Christmas out of her top 10 (only 10) Christmases. We told the kids they had to stay in bed until at least 6:45. Joel woke up at 6:51 and headed right in to wake me up. We woke up Maddy, and after a few minutes, woke up Abraham. We were all done opening presents by 7:40am, and spent the rest of the day watching movies, playing video games, playing with toys, and eating candy.

Pictures (click to EMBIGGEN):

Abe was excited to get a Spider-Man watch from the ward (which he'd seen at Wal-Mart and REALLY wanted):

And he was expecting Spider-man action figures, but was still excited to open them:

Here are the kids in their pajamas (pants sewn by Amanda):

This year, we made our ornaments (well, painted wooden ornaments we bought at the store):

Joel was so excited for Christmas he jumped for joy:

Maddy and Joel got a chess set:

We got some toy frogs (from LeeAnn I think, though I could be wrong). We discovered that they stick to the ceiling:

Aww, how cute:

I'm glad you guys had such a fun Christmas. Your kids are at the age where it's more fun.

Cute pajama pants and cute ornaments! Hey, you guys should paint nutcrackers of your family, too. That'd be fun!

It must have been hard fer Santa to get anything into those stockings!

And yeah, Abe's cute. And I hope the frogs stay on your ceiling forever!
